X Factor duets, leaked

On last week's Sunday Xtra Factor we saw Simon reveal that this year there will be duets being performed, but refused to tell anymore. Not even answering Louis’ question: “English or American?” But The Daily Mail has got their hands on the info. Apparently Olly Murs will be singing with Robbie Williams, Stacey Solomon with Michael Bublé and Joe McElderry with George Michael.

But it gets better. As well as all that, former Beatle star Sir Paul McCartney is expected to perform a solo song. If the rumours of Robbie are true, it’ll be the second time he’s performed on the show this series, after his show-stopping performance in October, where he sung one of his new songs at the time Bodies, which was named his ‘British TV comeback’. His performance was slated by critics who said he was ‘wide-eyed’ and ‘nervous’ throughout. However the British viewers weren’t complaining.

A X-Factor source told The Daily Mail: "Everyone has a lot of love for Robbie and it would be a fantastic conclusion to the series if he came back and did an immense performance. I have a feeling it would also lay some of his demons to rest." Last year’s winner Alexandra Burke sang with superstar Beyoncé, which got everyone wondering if Alex only won the show because of her duet. This was also the case with Leon Jackson in ‘07 when he sung with Kylie Minouge. Do you think this year’s duets favour anyone?

Dinosaur Disaster
A Mexican show, Walking With Dinosaurs grand opening went all wrong when a remote controlled dinosaur worth over 55 and a half thousand pounds went missing.

This couldn't of been avoided, as staff only noticed at the end of the show. However, it has been viewed by 4 million people over the BBC American series. "Only in Mexico, how it happened we don't know," said the show's spokesman, Karla Arroyo. With the Christmas spirit still going around, the show was not stopped by the mind-blowing thief. But, I'm not surprised everyone was devastated, as the series took a whole 2 years to create! I wonder if the thief remembered the remote?

Andrew McCarthy to Direct Gossip Girl
Andrew McCarthy, the star of some of the most famous teen movies of the ’80s (Pretty in Pink, Less Than Zero), is taking on the drama, Gossip Girl.
McCarthy said the cast are different than the ones who came to be known as the Brat Pack.
“They are much more savvy than we were,” McCarthy continues... “We were just a bunch of dumb kids running around.”
Andrew appears to be excited about filming an episode. He tells People magazine “We have a nice episode, all sorts of juicy little things happen — the normal Gossip Girl juicy things,”
McCarthy’s episode isn’t scheduled to air until 2010, so until then all we can do is wait. Could Serena van der Woodsen be continuing her affair with Trip Vanderbilt?
Only time will tell!

Rat Killing on I'm A Celebrity
ITV has appologised after winner Gino D'Acampo and contestant Stuart Manning killed a rat and ate it during one show. The RSPCA in New South Wales say it is not acceptable that a rat has been killed as part of a performance. The two have now been told to attend court on Tuesday. The winner said, "Having sought health and safety advice, the go-ahead was given purely on this basis... the production was unaware that killing a rat could be an offence." Then, contestant George Hamilton spoke out in defence of D'Acampo, telling the Daily Mirror that ITV producers had given them permission to eat the rodent. Would you like to eat a rat, anyway?

Katie has Walked
It has been revealed that after all the torment Katie Price had received from the people who voted her repeatedly to do Bushtucker Trials on I'm a Celebrity, Katie has left the jungle.

The thought of Katie doing a seventh Bushtucker Trial was obviously way too much for her to handle. This thought of a seventh trial brought Katie to tears whilst she was leaving the jungle. "I can't take any more." Katie said, whilst she was leaving.

The model, who was petrified to realise she would be lowered into a pit of pythons, told I'm a Celebrity Producers she was walking. "There's only so much rubbish one person can take." Katie also described how, although she was the most popular woman on the show, she still felt hated. The I'm a Celebrity staff tried their very hardest persuading Katie to stay in the Jungle, but their efforts were not enough.

The charity single reaches No. 1!

THEXFactor.png

They've done it! The X Factor finalists have reached number 1 in the UK singles chart with their charity single 'You're not alone'. The track was in aid for Great Ormond Street Hospital, where every penny raised would go to them to help them.

The single has so far sold 193,000 copies in aid for the hospital, and i'm positive that the single will keep on raising money for the hospital and the children in there!

Judge Simon Cowell told the Official Chart Company: "I'm very proud of the single and I really hope it raises an enormous amount of money for people who really need our help." And Jude Danni Minogue said that she is "Delighted" that the single has got to number one in the charts, and Louis Walsh has said that the news is "Fantastic!"

This meant that it knocked Black Eyed Peas off the number 1 spot taking them down to number 2 in the charts!

Here's the full line up of the charts:

Goodbye Jedward!
The terrible twins have finally been knocked out of The X Factor.

The untalented pair lasted seven weeks on the show and were nicknamed Jedward as it was so hard to tell who was John and who was Edward. They were booed by the audience consistently, and were always being criticised by the judges but unbelievably the twins lasted seven weeks!

This week, the pair found themselves in the bottom two for the first time and were finally eliminated from the competition. They were alongside Olly Murs in the bottom two. The pair received a standing ovation from the judges when they were eliminated from the show and no one can deny that John and Edward have been the most entertaining duo in X Factor history.
